PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA PEGAWAI PADA RUMAH SAKIT PRATAMA RUMBIA KABUPATEN JENEPONTO

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi terhadap motivasi kerja pada pegawai Rumah Sakit Pratama Rumbia Kabupaten Jeneponto. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 120 orang pegawai, sedangkan sampel yang ditentukan  menggunakan slovin sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 92 pegawai Rumah Sakit Pratama Rumbia Kabupaten Jeneponto. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, penyebaran  kuesioner, wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan Software Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) versi 13.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Serta gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi berpengaruh simultan terhadap motivasi kerja.

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style and communication on work motivation among employees at Pratama Rumbia Hospital, Jeneponto Regency.  The type of research used in this study is quantitative research.  The population of this study consists of 120 employees, while the sample determined using Slovin's formula resulted in 92 employees from Rumah Sakit Pratama Rumbia, Jeneponto Regency.  Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, distribution of questionnaires, interviews, and documentation.  The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 13.0 software.  The results of this study indicate that leadership style does not have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, while communication has a positive and significant effect on work motivation.  And the leadership style and communication simultaneously influence work motivation.
