PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN PENGEMBANGAN KARIR TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PEGAWAI DI BAGIAN PROTOKOL DAN KOMUNIKASI PIMPINAN PADA KANTOR BALAI KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Bagian Protokol dan Komunikasi Pimpinan pada Kantor Balai Kota Makassar. Variabel pada penelitian ini yaitu Motivasi Kerja sebagai X1, Pengembangan Karir sebagai X2 dan Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai sebagai Y. Data analisis menggunakan aplikasi SEM PLS dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang diisi oleh pegawai di bagian Protokol dan Komunkasi Pimpinan pada kantor Balai Kota Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai di bagian Protokol dan Komunkasi Pimpinan pada kantor Balai Kota Makassar dengan populasi dan sampel berjumlah 77 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjuukan bahwa Motivasi Kerja dan Pengembangan Karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai di bagian protokol dan komunkasi pimpinan pada kantor Balai Kota Makassar.

This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between work motivation and career development on employee job satisfaction in the Leadership Protocol and Communication Section at the Makassar City Hall Office. The variable in this research is Work Motivation as X1, Career Development as X2 and Employee Job Satisfaction as Y. Data analysis used the SEM PLS application by distributing questionnaires filled out by employees in the Leadership Protocol and Communication section at the Makassar City Hall office. The population in this study were employees in the Protocol and Leadership Communications section at the Makassar City Hall office with a population and sample of 77 people. The research results show that work motivation and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction in the protocol and leadership communications section at the Makassar City Hall office.
