Dailymakassar.id. MAKASSAR. The Mayor of Makassar, Moh. Ramdhan ‘Danny’ Pomanto, will set up a team of motivators for patients who carry out floating isolation on a ship owned by PELNI. This team is formed with the aim of providing positive motivation to patients.

“So we prepare motivations that will be shared to patients. Why? Because in the science that we have been observing for the last two years, it turns out that brain stimulants have contributed a lot during this covid. Many patients recover because of good motivation and many others are anxious and give up,” said Danny.

The motivator team, according to Danny, consists of academics and professionals. “Academics and professionals. An average of 80 percent of survivors. Today, 25 motivator volunteers have registered,” he mentioned.

Meanwhile, the motivational services that will be provided can be online or offline.

“Patients will choose because there will be a mandatory motivation in the morning and evening. Hopefully, this can make COVID-19 patients recover quickly and are not stressed during the isolation period,” said Danny.

In addition to this free motivation, on this ship there will be a number of positive activities such as relaxing scenery, fishing, and singing. [Ib]
